I’m Woodie Hopper, and I’m President of Radiology Imaging Associates, also known as RIA. And, I’m the Managing Partner of Invision Sally Jobe, which is a joint venture between RIA and HealthOne. When I travel and people on a plane ask me what I do, I don’t say that I’m a Radiologist – I tell them I’m a physician. I AM a Radiologist, but a lot of people don’t know that means I’m a physician.
As Radiologists, many of us don’t meet patients like you face-to-face. You get a report from us about what we saw on your imaging. But, it’s likely you hear your results from the doctor that wrote your “prescription” for imaging. You may not know much about what we do, how long we trained to do it, and why it should matter to you.
So, we decided to tell you the stories behind the large and amazing team of Radiologists in our practice – the Doctors of RIA. We’re going to introduce you to men and women who all went to medical school, completed Fellowship training in a specialty field of radiology, and work today in that specialty area. We believe you deserve to know about it, because we’re the only private group of Radiologists in Colorado that covers all the specialties of radiology.
Some of you know us best for our reputation as the largest provider of women’s imaging services in this region. Every year, we do two-thirds of all screening and diagnostic mammography in metro Denver. And we still have doctors in our practice who invented life-saving techniques and procedures with Dr. William Jobe, one of the founders of Invision Sally Jobe. But, we do even more than that – MRIs, CAT scans, Ultrasounds, X-rays, Body Composition and Bone Density tests, Interventional radiology procedures, and Neurointerventional surgeries.
You have a choice of imaging providers. You’ll find no provider more qualified or better prepared than Radiology Imaging Associates to serve the needs of you and every member of your family. Thanks for following along as we introduce you to the Doctors of RIA at Invision Sally Jobe.
