Time to celebrate! Invision Sally Jobe has achieved the status of a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence™, which is the highest level of recognition in the NQMBC program! The National Quality Measures for Breast Centers® program is a quality program developed by the National Consortium of Breast Centers™. It is a voluntary quality program that identifies quality-of-care measures, provides immediate access to quality information, and allows breast centers to compare their performance with other centers across the United States and beyond. Participants in the program can enter their quality measure data and compare their performance with other breast centers for the measures they submit data on.
Quality measurement can be used to drive improvement and to measure and address disparities in performance of breast center care. New value-based payment models require hospitals and practitioners to collect and report quality data. Never has it been more important to know your performance on quality measures and be able to report it. In addition, participation in a quality program demonstrates commitment to quality and excellence.
Here is what Stacy Jackson, Invision Sally Jobe Manager of Accreditation and Clinical Quality, had to say: “It is exceptional that even during the pandemic, we were able to maintain the highest level of quality and patient care, and I’m very proud to be part of this team.” This groundbreaking, one-of-a-kind program is dedicated to assisting breast health care facilities with providing the highest quality of care to their patients.
Invision Sally Jobe is part of an elite group of centers that have achieved this certification status. Congratulations to all of those who worked so hard to accomplish this amazing victory!
