Historically extended to only 10% of American College of Radiology (ACR) members, one of the highest honors the ACR bestows on its long-term members is recognition as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology (FACR).
We are very excited to announce that Dr. Lora Barke, Medical Director of Invision Sally Jobe, was not only awarded this prestigious title, but is the only recipient of an FACR from the state of Colorado.
ACR fellowship takes into account specific requirements including one or more of the following categories:
- Service to the ACR from local, regional or national levels
- Outstanding teaching of diagnostic radiology and/or
- Significant scientific or clinical research in radiology or significant contributions to the literature.
Dr Barke’s contributions to the practice of breast imaging include all of these elements, and are truly immense.
