How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?
I come from a family of physicians, so there was really no other option :). My mom was always my role model growing up, so I figured I’d follow in her footsteps by choosing a career in radiology.
What do you like most about your job?
I love having a challenging career. Every day is different, every patient is different, and we are constantly learning new technology and research and striving to be better! Radiology is like an advanced game of Where’s Waldo? — always trying to find what is wrong in each image. It’s interesting and challenging and constantly evolving. It is also motivating working with such brilliant, kind and helpful people who make coming to work every day fun. I feel so lucky!
What is your favorite way to spend free time?
In my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends. Working in a dark room all day, I just want to be outside anytime I’m off work! I enjoy snow and water skiing, hiking and camping. Photography and travel are two other passions of mine … I want to visit as many countries as possible!
What do you like most about working at RIA?
My favorite part of working at RIA are the people. My colleagues are some of the most brilliant, motivated and interesting people I know. But even better, they are kind, generous, compassionate people who motivate me to be better.
