How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?
I started college as a political science major. It didn’t take long for me to become disenchanted with all the spin sadly ingrained within politics. I decided I wanted to help others in a way more pure and personal, and medicine naturally called to me.
What do you like most about your job?
With RIA, I am able to focus on my sub specialization of breast imaging, allowing me to provide the absolute best care for my patients.
What is your favorite way to spend free time?
Playing with my kids. My five-year-old boy and three-year-old girl are the lights of my life.
What do you like most about working at RIA?
The camaraderie between the radiologists and all the other physicians and hospital staff we are privileged to work with. Our focus is always patient-centered, and it takes a team.
