We love hearing from our patients. Their stories inspire us. Thank you, Myranda, for sharing.
I’ve been going to Invision Sally Jobe for 4 1/2 years, ever since I had an ultrasound done on a lump in my breast. My first appointment was very nerve-wracking, as I was only 25 years old and facing a potential cancer diagnosis. My technician for both my ultrasound and my mammogram were very kind and helped me through a very difficult appointment. Ever since, I have appreciated the tact and laid-back nature of all of the nurses, staff, and technicians that I’ve dealt with at Invision Sally Jobe. I’ve always felt very open and comfortable there.
I was surprised at how knowledgeable and kind all of the staff are – it helps to know what you are getting into and getting all of your questions answered in a professional, yet tactful way. The staff, scheduling options, locations and the overall clarity of process has helped me to become comfortable getting my routine screening done, versus dreading it.
I’ve been cancer-free now since September 2017. If I had not been diligent about getting tested and being an advocate for my own health, I may not be here today. It is so important to get tested, even if you don’t think it will be anything, because catching cancer early is a huge key to a successful treatment. I am so grateful for the technicians, surgeons, doctors, and nurses who all helped me get through my treatment with flying colors. I just celebrated my 30th birthday and am thriving now more than ever – I even recently became a hip-hop dance instructor and am in the best shape of my life. Getting screened can be scary, but it is so worth it if you can catch something before it is too late!
